Antonietta Collins
Antonietta Toni Gonzalez Collins is a Mexican American Sportcaster. Her current role is a sportscaster for ESPN who is also anchor of SportsCenter as well as hosting SportsNation. She started working at ESPN in the year 2016. Her mother is journalists on TV Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta has been bilingual since her age of nine. Her skills were instrumental in helping her get her first job as a production assistant at Univision Miami, where she was a producer of the shows Nuestra Belleza Latina and Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud. A CBS channel that is located in St. Petersburg hired her following this to become reporters for sports. She was a reporter with KNVO TV 48 Univision in Rio Grande Valley Texas. The newscast covered stories related to immigration as well as drug trafficking from both sides the border with Mexico. She worked as a reporter on an evening newscast at 5. p.m. Spanish newscast a anchor and reporter for anchoring the 9 p.m. newscast in English as well as reporting for the 10:30 p.m. Spanish newscast. The family moved into Mexico City, where Antonietta Collins was born in the month of November in 1985. She has an older sister. In 1992, the family quit Mexico and relocated to Miami. Their divorce was soon followed and her mother remarried an architect from the naval profession named Fabio Fajardo who passed away from kidney cancer in the year 2006. The summer vacation that she stayed with her younger sister and her sister in Canton Ohio where the older Collins girl had secured the job. Antonietta was the senior of her high school, but she was certain of her professional goals. She visited Mount Union University to find out if the school was suitable for her. The result was that she loved the campus and it offered the degree she was looking for. She graduated from high school and was accepted in the university to study media studies. Mark Bergmann was her professor and the manager of WRMU where she's a participant. They had a very close relationship. Mark's passion for journalism and her self-confidence prompted her. She, in turn, tried to meet his expectations and never fail him.
